Business Developer with international sales know-how, who can sell packaging experiences for life
Imagine these scenarios: You are enjoying a bottle of freshly squeezed juice in the sun with a friend, grabbing for your favorite scented shampoo or reaching for a delicious drink from the showcase – and it is all packed in a bespoke packaging that you have sold to our customers. Whether it be bottles, jars or anything in between, you know how to sell creative packaging solutions that wow our customers. Sounds good? Then you might be our new Business Developer.
At EMBACO we are dedicated to creating a more sustainable world through better packaging choices. You will become part of our Bottles & Jars Team: a successful team that works collaboratively to grow EMBACO’s position in the market. One of our business areas are within recyclable PET bottles and jars with caps and closures that are sold for FMCG beverage, personal, health and home care brands. We are a group of very ambitious and hardworking individuals, who work together as a team and have EMBACO’s interests at heart. As our new Business Developer, you will join our mission and sell memorable packaging to our existent and future customers.
The sales process is in good hands with you
Our sales processes can easily stretch over a few months – and you ensure that it reaches the finish line. You have a great deal of situational awareness, and you customize your sales approach to each customer. As our new Business Developer, you will bring all your talents into play when you perform your daily tasks.
- You manage the full sales cycle. You seek out new and existing customers, cover needs, design offers, send samples (and make sure to follow up), secure orders and ensure happy customers.
- You find leads. Your approaches to sales are many, targeted and creative. You might quickly become too used to twisting and turning every possible bottle and jar in your quest for the next great lead.
- You can handle many customers at once. And you work closely with your colleagues in procurement, customer service and graphic design – together you succeed in creating and maintaining good customer relations.
Every bottle is filled with stories – are you a good story seller?
We tell (and sell) brand stories through packaging within areas such as personal care, cosmetics, food and beverage, medicinal and household product packaging. It is not a requirement, but definitely an advantage, if you have experience from any of these fields, have good business relations or are the type to be first in line when a new business opens and is in need of our products.
It motivates you to fulfil customers' packaging dreams and you feel energetic, when you provide excellent customer service. To make great sales, you know that you and your team's packaging knowledge is equally as important as your courtesy and your ability to listen to your customers' questions and unique desires.
You have digital and international sales know-how
You have a strong digital mindset, and you know how to generate sales from various digital platforms. You may hold a bachelor's degree (focus of study is not particularly important) and you may also have experience from an international trading company, so you understand our business. You have excellent English skills, and if you speak another language as well (besides English and Danish) it would be an additional advantage, as we sell our products to a large part of Europe. And speaking about Europe, we expect you to approach new customers in both Germany, France, and Italy – and other relevant countries. If you already have some experience in this regard, we would be very interested in that.

You are motivated by talking to customers. You have complete control of specifications and attention to detail – because you know every penny per product counts. Despite nine years in the business, we still have the spirit of a start-up that gives you the freedom to manage your sales efforts, which suits you perfectly. You are a proactive and energetic person, unafraid of exploring new ways of doing things, and when doing so, you make sure to quality check your work through discussions with your colleagues – because you know that the best results are accomplished together.

We are kind of a cross between a design agency and a trading company with a vibrant entrepreneurial atmosphere. Our HQ is in the heart of Copenhagen, but you can also work from our office located in Aarhus, if you prefer. We enjoy quality coffee every day, have lunch together, play some ping-pong at our Friday get-togethers and enjoy close cooperation. We always encourage and bring out the best in each other.
