one.com is looking for a Team Lead UX to lead the UX team in our Copenhagen office

Our team is on a mission to design great user experiences that help our 2 million customers in creating, configuring, and developing their web presence. We are seeking a passionate and visionary Team Lead UX to guide our talented UX team in Copenhagen and beyond.

 

The Role

As the Team Lead UX, you will lead a high-performing team of 5 UX designers specialising in UX research, UX design and UX writing. While most of your team is based in Copenhagen, you will also coordinate with team members abroad. Reporting to the VP of UX and design, you will collaborate closely with the design leadership team to create a cohesive and user-centric design experience across all our brands, products and platforms.

In this role you are a team player that will grow, coach, and mentor the UX team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement. You will develop and implement a compelling UX vision and strategy that aligns with the company's goals and user needs. In addition to leading your UX team, you will work directly with our Online Shop product, overseeing UX research, user testing and ongoing discovery to enhance user experiences. Along with the Team Lead UI, you make sure our Copenhagen office is a UX and design hub with a supportive and collaborative work environment and fantastic atmosphere.

 

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in UX design for web and mobile devices, of which 2+ years leading a UX team.
  • Academic degree in UX design, service design, social sciences (psychology, sociology, anthropology), or a related field.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your extensive experience and expertise in UX design, demonstrating your ability to lead successful projects, highlighting your design thinking process, and illustrating your proficiency in creating user-centred designs across various platforms.
  • Deep functional expertise in user experience design practices, methods, and theories.
  • Proficient in managing design workflows and tackling projects with ease.
  • Experience in utilizing quantitative and qualitative data to drive design decisions.
  • Ability to manage stakeholders effectively and work within tight timelines.
  • Strong ability to present ideas to stakeholders and management and secure buy-in.
  • Excellent at solving complex problems and driving a human-centred design culture.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
  • Exceptional English skills, both spoken and written.
  • Hands-on experience and expert knowledge of Figma and various research tools (e.g., Maze, HotJar, Dovetail, VWO, Mixpanel, Google Analytics).
  • Ability to coach and mentor team members, helping them grow while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Visible advocate for UX both inside and outside the company.
  • Proven experience in creating and implementing a UX strategy and vision.

 

Additional Skills

  • Experience with marketing software products, especially SaaS.
  • Experience in designing e-commerce pages and flows.
  • Comfortable with numbers and data analysis.
  • Experience in project management.
  • Experience in UX writing.
  • Appreciation for minimalist functional aesthetics of Nordic design.
